Alerts vs. structure
The difference is not feature count, it is what you are being sold. Scanner products surface events: something unusual just happened, go look. NoVo surfaces structure — where dealers are positioned and which levels tend to pin or repel price — because structure explains why a level matters and does not expire the moment the alert scrolls past. The core difference: analytics you read vs. a map that streams
Most analytics products end at a snapshot. They show you the picture as of the last refresh; by the time you have studied it, the tape has moved. On 0DTE, a level that was true five minutes ago is not analysis — it is history.
NoVo is a live dealer map. It maps the structure — net GEX regime, the gamma flip, call and put walls, gravity, expected move — redrawn as the tape moves, and shows what its own logged record says that setup has done before — how often price closed inside the expected move, whether it went through the walls, and the sample size behind each figure.

Where each fits
Choose a scanner if you trade many names and want maximum surface area. Choose NoVo if you have already narrowed to SPY and want depth instead of breadth.
The honest caveats
NoVo is not a research terminal. It is built for SPY 0DTE/1DTE scalping, so if you want coverage across hundreds of tickers, equities screening or macro research, a dedicated analytics platform covers far more ground. NoVo does not remove risk either: options carry substantial risk of loss and nothing is guaranteed. And it does not place trades — every decision and every order stays with you. If you want something that takes positions unattended, this is not it.
