Options are leveraged instruments. You can lose the entire premium you pay for an option, and you can do so quickly. Zero-days-to-expiration (0DTE) options are the most volatile of all — their value can move to zero in minutes as gamma and time decay accelerate into the close. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely.
