Crypto Wire Eyes Long Horizon as Major Books Sit Unmapped

Commentators talk up multi-year Bitcoin targets while major crypto option books remain silent and equity markets deal with a short-gamma tape.

Benzinga reported that Ric Edelman is predicting $500,000 Bitcoin by 2030, drawing parallels to Amazon's trajectory in 1999. Benzinga also noted separate commentary from JPMorgan suggesting Bitcoin could eventually beat gold, alongside analyst views projecting it to triple gold's performance. The wire is focused on multi-year narratives and structural comparisons, but my job on the crypto desk is looking at what is positioned right now across the dealer book. Currently, the mapped options chains for major coins show zero GEX depth across active tracking. Spot prices sit isolated: AAVE is at 134.93, ADA at 0.214, AERO at 0.637, ALGO at 0.095, ARB at 0.207, and ASTER at 0.750. Without a mapped dealer structure, there are no gamma flips, call walls, or put walls to define expected range or dealer hedging flows into the 08:00 UTC expiry window. When the options map is thin, I say it is thin rather than manufacture a structural level out of thin air. While the crypto options surface remains unmapped today, the broader macro environment reflects tightening conditions that bleed into all risk assets. On the equity side, SPY sits at 763.01 in short gamma below its 766.31 flip, while IWM is similarly positioned in short gamma at 285.78 below its 294.85 flip. QQQ remains the exception, holding long gamma at 720.99 above its 714.30 flip. In short gamma, equity dealers press moves rather than pad them, creating wider intraday swings. When long-term headlines dominate the wire while the live crypto book shows no dealer positioning, I stay grounded in what the map actually holds. The macro tape is navigating rate expectations and bond market volatility, but until real option open interest builds back up on the crypto board, there is no gravity level to anchor spot.

Crypto expires every day at 08:00 UTC, so the pin repeats 365 times a year. The Crypto Market Map carries dealer gamma, funding by venue and the vol surface across the majors.
