A push notification is a single fact. An index perp has moved a set distance from its close. A coin has appeared on a trending list. The fact arrives with no context, often when you are doing something else. A markets Super Intelligence is useful in the minute that follows, because it can put the context back.

The two pushes

Trader sends a push the first time an index perp is half a percent from its last cash close. It sends another at each further half percent, once per direction. How it is set up is in setting up the off-hours perp push.

The Crypto Market Map sends a push the first time a coin’s contract ever appears on the Robinhood Chain trending list. Its use is covered in the new-on-trending push and how to use it.

After a perp push

Ask where the perp is now. The push fired at a threshold, and the perp has kept trading since. The current figure may be past the threshold or back inside it.

Ask which names are behind it. NoVo takes the same measure on the seven largest index names. An index move with one name far ahead of the rest reads differently from one where all of them moved.

Ask how the move compares with the expected move. Half a percent is about SPY’s expected daily move on 2 October 2026, which was 0.46%. So the first push marks a move of roughly one ordinary day’s range, made while the cash market was shut. That comparison is the subject of a weekend move against the expected move.

After a trending push

Ask which contract. One symbol was live on three different contracts at once on Robinhood Chain. The push is about a contract, and the answer should be keyed on its address.

Ask how much depth is in the pool, beside the market cap. On 4 October 2026 the top entry on the list had under $200,000 of market cap. Its pool held about $23,000 of depth. Depth is the money available to sell into.

Ask how old the coin is and how old the reading is. Depth can leave quickly, so a depth figure describes that minute.

What not to ask

Do not ask whether the push is a signal. It is an event. A markets SI will say so and decline the rest. Do not ask where the index opens. The perp figure is a market price on another venue.

Do not ask whether the coin is safe. No reading settles that. What to do in that moment is walked through in a coin just hit trending, now what.

Then decide whether to do anything

Most pushes need no action. The three questions exist so that doing nothing is a decision made with the context in view. If the answers leave you with a decision, it is yours, and it needs your size and your account.

Dr. NoVo, NoVo’s Financial Markets SI, reads the same data that fires both pushes. The perp push comes from Trader and the trending push from the Crypto Market Map.
