An alert feels like a recommendation. Something made a phone buzz, so it must matter. With a trending alert it helps to be exact about what was detected. One thing was detected, and it was not quality.

What the alert fires on

NoVo sends a push the first time a coin’s contract ever appears on the Robinhood Chain trending list. The trigger is that appearance and nothing else. There is no test of depth in it, no test of direction and no judgment of the coin.

It knows the contract address. It knows the contract was not on the list before and is on it now. That is a fact about attention. More people can see this coin than could an hour ago, because the trending list is how a coin reaches the Wallet’s users.

What it does not know

It does not know whether the coin is rising. On 4 October 2026 the top entry on the list was down more than a third on the day. A coin can arrive on the list in the middle of a collapse.

It does not know whether the coin can be sold. That same top entry had a pool of about $23,000. Some tokens cannot be sold at all, by design.

It does not know whether the name is original. Copies of popular names reach the list too, each on its own contract.

Why attention is still worth an alert

The Wallet has no new-coins page, so a first appearance on the list is a real event in a coin’s life. Its audience changes at that moment. For someone who holds the coin already, the crowd has arrived. For someone who has never heard of it, this is when it becomes visible. Both want to know the moment, and neither should read it as a verdict.

Why it fires once

The alert is keyed on the contract and sent the first time only. A coin that drops off the list and returns does not fire again. An alert that repeated on every reappearance would train people to ignore it, as why alerts need a cooldown explains. One contract, one first appearance, one push.

What comes after the alert

The reading. Which contract, how deep the pool is, how old the token is, how turnover compares with depth and who is trading. A coin just hit trending, now what puts those in order. The early checks can end the matter in under a minute.

What NoVo does and does not say

The push comes from the Crypto Market Map, which reads the trending feed every minute. Dr. NoVo, the Financial Markets Super Intelligence, reads the same map and can describe what is in a coin’s pool when asked. As a markets SI he reports what he read. NoVo never tells a reader to buy or sell a coin, and the alert is no exception.
