Robinhood issues tokenized stocks and ETFs on Robinhood Chain. With a paid key, an agent can read them through get_stocks_onchain. Pass a symbol and it returns that name’s token along with its perp. The numbers are easy to fetch. Three of them are easy to misstate.
Supply is a count of tokens
Each token is a contract, and its total supply is the number of tokens that exist on-chain. An agent should report that as shares on-chain. It is not a count of holders, and it is not volume. The basics are in the total supply of a stock token.
Scale matters here. On 4 October 2026 the largest token was SPY, at about $22 million on-chain. An agent that describes token supply as a view of the whole stock has lost the scale. It is a view of the tokenized slice.
Flow is the change in supply
Supply rises when tokens are minted and falls when they are redeemed. The change is the mint and redeem flow. The tool reports it over a day and over a week. An agent tends to turn flow into sentiment and write that buyers are piling in. The data says tokens were minted. Ask for the plain version, as in shares on-chain and mint and redeem flow.
No flow is a reading too. Supply did not change over the weekend of 3 to 4 October 2026. An agent should report that as flat, and should not report it as missing.
How long the record is
Robinhood publishes no history for these tokens. NoVo’s collector has recorded supply every pass since 4 October 2026. The tool says how long its own record runs in history.span_hours. A weekly flow figure only means a week if the span covers one. A careful agent quotes the span beside the figure.
The price needs a label
Each token in the response carries a price_basis. When it is quote, the price is the live midpoint of the token’s bid and ask. Any other value means the price is approximate. The dashboard marks those with an approximately sign. An agent should use the word.
Outside market hours the quote goes wide. AMC closed near 2.80 before the weekend. On Sunday 4 October 2026 its token quoted a bid of 2.72. The ask was 11.80. The midpoint of that quote is 7.26, and no one should read it as a price. An agent that reports a weekend midpoint with no warning has told you a stock more than doubled. Ask for the bid and the ask whenever the market is shut. The two prices a token can have are covered in the quote and the pool.
Token and perp are different things
The same call returns the name’s perp if one exists. The perp has funding, open interest and a premium. The token has supply and flow. An agent should keep them in separate lines. Neither has dealer gamma, a flip or walls.
What to ask for
Give me the token for this symbol. Shares on-chain, flow over a day and a week with the record’s span, the price with its basis, and the bid and ask if the market is shut. The same fields are on the Stocks On-Chain tab of the Crypto Market Map.
