A trader looking at one stock usually wants two things. What the market is doing, and what is known about the name. An agent can fetch both. If it fetches them in one blended answer, you cannot tell which sentence rests on which reading. Fix the order and the labels, and the answer becomes easy to check.

Step one: the market

Ask for the backdrop first, on its own. On NoVo’s server that is a small set of free calls. get_market_pulse returns the fear and greed composite with its factors. get_volatility_record shows where the VIX family ranks against its history. get_dealer_levels gives the walls and spot on SPY, QQQ and IWM, delayed.

Have the agent write this as a block headed market. Each line carries its tool and its age. Stop there and read it before you go on.

Step two: the name

Now ask about the stock. get_ticker_brief returns what the free surface carries for one name in a single call: short volume where the name is covered, the next earnings date, House disclosures and retail chatter. Each section has its own time. A section that cannot answer says so.

This block is headed with the ticker. Nothing from step one belongs in it. The dealer map covers the three index funds and no single stock, and the brief says that itself. The split between the two kinds of question is in one ticker or the whole market.

Step three, if you want it

Only now ask how the two sit together. This is interpretation, and it should be marked as such. You can let your own model attempt it, with both blocks in front of it. Or you can put the question to Dr. NoVo through ask_novo. He is a markets SI who reads the free feeds and names which of them the answer came from. When each choice fits is in letting Dr. NoVo answer or calling the data tools.

Why the order matters

The backdrop is the same for every name you look at. Read it once and you can reuse it for the next ticker, as long as its age still suits you. Read the name first and the agent tends to pull the market in around it, picking the readings that suit the story.

Order also makes the gaps visible. If step one came back with the expected move withheld, you know that before you start on the stock. You will not mistake a gated field for a calm market.

Labels carry the weight

The labels do more work than the order. A sentence under market came from an index tool. A sentence under the ticker came from the brief. A sentence under the third heading is a reading of both, and it is the only place a judgment should appear. If a level turns up in the ticker block, the agent has pasted the index onto the stock.

A plain instruction

In words, the whole thing is short. First the market, labeled. Then the name, labeled. Do not mix them. Do not interpret until I ask. The tools are on the MCP & API, and what a model does with the index block is covered in what an AI does with a dealer map.
