“What changed since yesterday” is a better question than “what is the level”. A level is one reading. A change is two readings and the gap between them. It also asks more of a markets Super Intelligence, because the earlier reading has to exist somewhere.

A change needs a record

A venue publishes what is true now. Few publish what was true yesterday. The perp venue serves price history and funding history, and it does not serve open-interest history. Robinhood publishes no history for its stock tokens.

So a day-on-day answer about those markets depends on somebody having written yesterday down. NoVo’s collector has recorded every perp’s open interest, funding and premium on every pass since 4 October 2026. It has recorded every token’s supply and the trending list over the same span. The reasoning is in the open-interest history the venue does not serve.

What can be compared

For a stock or index perp, a markets SI can give the 24-hour price change and the change in open interest. It can say whether funding has moved away from its resting value or back toward it.

For a stock token, it can give the flow over a day and over a week. Flow is the change in supply, which is tokens minted less tokens redeemed. The two windows answer different questions, as in a day versus a week.

For the Robinhood Chain trending list, it can say which contracts are on the list for the first time.

The span, said out loud

Any change or average carries a span. NoVo’s dashboards label averages with the span the record really covers. A markets SI quoting one should do the same. If the record behind a weekly figure is three days long, the answer says three days.

When the earlier reading does not exist, the answer is that it does not exist. Nothing before 4 October 2026 is in the collector’s record of these markets. A markets SI says so and does not estimate the missing day. That habit is described in an SI that says it does not have that.

Changes that are not changes

Some figures hold still for a reason. Stock token supply did not change over the weekend of 3 to 4 October 2026, because minting follows market hours. A flat line across a weekend is expected. A good answer says the figure is unchanged and says why.

The reverse also happens. A dealer level can move between two readings because open interest moved, with no news at all. The SI reports that the level moved. It should not invent a story for it.

How to ask

Name the instrument, the figure and the window. “How has open interest on the S&P 500 perp changed over the last day, and what span does your record cover” is a complete question. Then ask what did not change. A quiet figure next to a busy one is often the more interesting line.
