This is a week with a markets Super Intelligence, written as a diary. The entries are a pattern, drawn to show how the questions change through a week. They contain no prices and no results, because a diary of readings is about what was asked and what kind of answer came back.

Sunday evening

Question: where are the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 perps against Friday’s close, and how old are the prints.

The answer gave each perp against its own price at the cash close, then the seven largest index names with the largest move first. It said the figures were market prices on another venue. It said IWM had nothing to show, because no small-cap perp exists. Read The Week Ahead afterward. More on this hour is in what a markets SI reads on a Sunday.

Monday, before the bell

Question: where are the flip and the walls on SPY, and how wide is the expected move.

The answer gave the side of the flip, the nearer wall and the expected move, each with its age. It added that the map was from the last options session until the market opened. The routine is in five questions before the open.

Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday, mid-session. Question: what does the premium on a stock perp mean.

Three sentences came back. A definition, the reading on the perp in question, and a note that a premium describes one perp on one book. Back to the screen in under a minute.

Wednesday, early afternoon. Question: how much of SPY’s expected move is used.

The answer gave the expected move and the distance covered, and said the read was a few minutes old because of the cycle. Asked whether the rest would be used. That was declined as a forecast, and the distance to each wall was offered in its place.

Thursday, evening

A push arrived: a coin was on the Robinhood Chain trending list for the first time. Question: which contract is it, how much depth is in the pool, and is there a same-name copy.

The answer was keyed on the contract address. It gave depth beside market cap and said how old the coin was. It did not say whether to buy it.

Friday and Saturday

Friday, after the close. Question: what rests over the weekend and what keeps moving.

The answer split the readings in two. The dealer map and stock token supply rest. The perps and the on-chain pools keep trading. Stock token quotes go wide, so a weekend midpoint is not a price.

Saturday. No question. Wrote up the week, in the manner of a weekly review. Six questions, six readings, one refusal. The refusal was the forecast on Wednesday. Every decision in the week was made away from the conversation.

What the week shows

The questions followed the clock. Perps when the cash market was shut, the dealer map when it was open, definitions and distances in between. The SI read and reported. The diary records no call it made, because it made none.
