A professional desk has always had two advantages over a retail trader. It had better data, and it had people to read the data. The first advantage has shrunk a great deal. The second is the one a markets Super Intelligence addresses.
The data went public
Options open interest is published. From it, dealer positioning can be estimated, which is the subject of can retail see dealer positioning. Perp venues publish mark, funding and open interest for every market. A blockchain publishes everything that happens on it.
So the raw material is available to anyone with a browser. Access to the numbers is no longer what separates a retail trader from a desk.
The reading did not
Available is not the same as read. Well over a hundred stock and index perps were live in early October 2026. Robinhood Chain was producing roughly a hundred new tokens an hour on 3 October 2026, by NoVo’s count of pool-creation events. Nobody reads that alone, after work, on a phone.
A desk solves this with headcount. One person watches rates, another watches options, another watches a sector. The retail trader is all of those people and also has a job.
What a markets SI closes
It closes the reading gap. A markets SI covers every market it has a feed for, every hour, and can say in plain words what is there. Ask it which perps have funding far from the resting value and it has already looked at all of them.
It also closes some of the hours gap. Perps and on-chain markets trade through the weekend. A retail trader is often free then. A desk is not there. The comparison is drawn out in a markets SI versus a human desk.
What it does not close
A desk has capital, execution and relationships. An SI supplies none of them. It does not get you a better fill. It does not know who is on the other side. It does not carry your risk.
It does not supply judgment either. The read tells you what is there. Deciding what to do about it was always the hard part, and it still belongs to the trader. Anyone promising that an SI removes that step is describing a different product, and NoVo is not that product.
What changes in practice
The retail trader’s morning gets shorter and wider. Shorter, because the reading is done. Wider, because it covers markets they would never have opened. The remaining work is the trader’s own, and it is the same work as before.
Dr. NoVo, NoVo’s Financial Markets SI, is that reader. His written reads are on the Trader dashboard, he reads the Crypto Market Map, and he answers questions on his own page.
